The Knit and Natter Club at Maiden Castle House care home have been putting their skills to good use once again.
The residents, who have previously supported charities and the vulnerable with their knitting have been knitting poppies ahead of Remembrance Day in November, while one lady is making a blanket for a little boy.
In February, the popular club at the Dorchester care home knitted hats and mittens for babies, as well as blankets for homeless cats and kittens.
Once they had finished, the residents personally delivered the knitted clothing to the Special Care Baby Unit at Dorset County Hospital, and dropped the blankets off at the RSPCA rehoming centre in Kingston Maurward.
While at the RSPCA centre, the residents also got the chance to look around and meet the cats they were helping.
