Knitted gifts warmly received by Fern Brook Lodge residents

Published: 10th March 2021

The residents at Fern Brook Lodge care home in Gillingham were delighted to receive a gift from some local knitters who kindly made colourful snoods, knee blankets and a pair of twiddle muffs for them.

The snoods can be worn indoors when it’s chilly and out in the garden while we wait for the summer sunshine.

The kind gesture was kindly organised by Anne Kings, a Dementia Friends Champion in Gillingham, who co-ordinated the wool donations for the knitters and delivered the finished items.
