Maiden Castle House was delighted to officially open its newly landscaped woodland garden at the home recently. The fantastic space hasn’t been used since the home opened but thanks to some hard work from the home, residents can now enjoy a brand-new outside space.

To celebrate the opening, residents and family members enjoyed a tea party on the terrace which looks across to a woodland area and a rockery so that residents can enjoy sunny days looking at the wildlife that often frequent the garden. The home is lucky to welcome lots of hedgehogs, squirrels and species of birds and is also home to Maiden Castle House’s rabbits, Thumper and Angelina.

Residents will soon be making birdboxes, hedgehog houses and watering homes as part of the home’s weekly activities to encourage even more wildlife to the gardens.
