An relaxing morning of culture sparked a trip down memory lane for one resident at Wickmeads care home in Southbourne, Bournemouth, as they showed off their artist flare.
Mary was an accomplished artist and graphic designer, and even has her artwork published in books, so this brought back strong memories for her. She even critiqued the Activities Assistant’s work and gave out hints and tips.
Another resident Margaret showed off her drawing flare and created a lovely piece of work and other residents a series of classical musical pieces from Baroque, imagining Henry VIII having a banquet and Mozart sitting down to compose his masterpieces. Everyone enjoyed this cultural relaxing start to their day.
