Office staff visit Queensmead to spread Christmas cheer
Queensmead care home welcomed staff from a Bournemouth-based company for an afternoon of mince pies and singing Christmas carols with residents.
The entire Just Move In office came to the Christchurch care home, where they spent time talking to residents and helped serve the morning teas and coffees, along with more than 100 mince pies that they had donated.
Tracey Walker, Queensmead home manager, said: “I’d like to thank the staff for such a kind gesture in the lead up to Christmas. We are a very sociable care home, and the residents love meeting new people.
“They particularly enjoyed singing Christmas carols with the staff and said they really enjoyed the visit.”
Bev Starr, of Just Move In, said: “We particularly enjoyed talking to Monica, she is a very sweet lady,” while colleague Annette Murphy added: “I enjoyed seeing their happy faces.”
