Queensmead holds surprise 30th birthday party for Rebecca
Residents and staff at Queensmead threw a surprise birthday party at the care home for Care Team Leader Rebecca Stopher.
Rebecca, who turned 30, has worked with Care South for 13 years, starting as a Care Assistant and working through the roles to become a valued Care Team Leader.
However, it was a day of mixed emotions as Rebecca will be leaving her role at the care home.
Rebecca has decided to train to be a nurse and has started an access college course so that she can fulfil her dream. Rebecca will now move to the home’s bank staff.
Although staff and residents alike will miss Rebecca, the home wished her the best of luck while she undertakes her new challenge.
