Queensmead residents enjoy a trip to Barford Farm
Residents from Queensmead enjoyed a lovely day out to Barford Farm. Everyone enjoyed a picnic sat in the gardens, which included yummy flavoured cakes that the residents had baked that morning. Everyone enjoyed sitting in the beautiful surroundings and talking about the flowers and their own gardening days whilst watching and listening to the birds.
After the picnic, they then had the difficult task of trying to decide which flavour of the delicious homemade ice cream to have and reminisced about ice cream vans visiting when they were younger and the lack of freezers!
At the end of the afternoon everyone was sad to go but all agreed they had a wonderful time and couldn’t wait to return to try a different flavour ice cream next time.
