The residents at Queensmead recently gathered together to discuss spring and what it means to them. There were some unanimous answers, most agreed that they loved to see pretty flowers in bloom again, such as daffodils, crocuses, wild primrose and roses.
Grace H reminisced about a spring trip she made with her sister to Keukenhof Gardens, in the Netherlands. Jean S said she has also visited Keukenhof Gardens and loved the beautiful flowers.
Other residents commented on the positivity that spring brings and represents:
Dot said: “Spring makes everybody feel better!”
With Sheila adding: “I like to see new life coming out!”
Avril agreed and also said: “I enjoy looking at my cat being comfortable at my feet!”
A lovely activity at Queensmead, from which a scrapbook was made. Residents have been enjoying looking back at the spring scrapbook since.
