Residents carry out random acts of kindness
Residents at Alexandra House care home in Poole are spreading joy during February to mark Random Acts of Kindness Month.
First up for the residents from the Poole-based care home was a trip to Care South’s head office to donate some cakes for staff.
Other acts of kindness planned by the residents include making biscuits and giving them out to Alexandra House neighbours, in Alexandra Road. They also plan to deliver biscuits to their local GP surgery and Poole Hospital, as well as volunteering at the local soup kitchen.
The residents said they were carrying out the random acts of kindness as “everyone can afford to give the gift of kindness”.
