Spring activities at Wickmeads, Maiden Castle House, Alexandra House and St Ives House

So far, it’s been a very busy spring for the Care South family! With various exciting activities going on, we wanted to share some of our favourite moments with you.

Alexandra House and Maiden Castle House separately held their own cinema afternoons, sweets and popcorn included, of course! Lights were dimmed and the curtains were closed for a more authentic experience, which the residents loved.

Maiden Castle House also got creative as they painted some beautiful spring pictures using only cotton buds and buttons, as you can see, the results were fantastic.

Residents at St Ives House enjoyed decorating their own jockey shirt biscuit, ready for the Grand National. All residents took part in a sweepstake and had great fun cheering their horse on!

Vyvyan, Julie, Janet, Brenda and other residents at Wickmeads had a great time as they all took part in a friendly skittles tournament. The room filled with laughter and cheers as the bowling balls were thrown and the skittles knocked over. Janet played very well, showing the room how it was done, whilst Brenda fondly recalled playing the game in her youth. All residents have said they cannot wait for a rematch!
