St Ives House enjoy an activity-filled Christmas
Staff and residents at St Ives House have been busy over the Christmas period enjoying a range of activities organised by staff at the home.
In the lead up to Christmas, St Ives House residents have been making homemade mince pies, enjoyed festive flower arranging and decorated the home with Christmas paper chains. Everyone at the home also enjoyed an afternoon of entertainment from the Forestina Concertina group, who visit the home regularly and this month the group performed a selection of Christmas hits, getting the residents singing along and tapping their feet.
On Christmas day, the residents enjoyed tucking into their delicious dinner before retiring to the lounge to watch the Queen’s speech.
In the afternoon everyone enjoyed a selection of games, and a particular favourite was pass the parcel and unwrapping the many layers, which were all filled with a sweet treat!
