As part of their regular cooking demonstrations with Patrick the Chef, residents at St Ives House recently participated in a French and Italian cooking masterclass.
Residents celebrated all things French and Italian, sampling many delicious traditional foods, as well as watching Chef Patrick cook and serve up signature dishes.
The traditional French foods included pate, cheese and meats from the regions of France, as well as French toast and wine. During the Italian cooking demonstration, residents had a taste of different cheeses, meats, olives, breads, yummy biscuits and watched as Chef Patrick cooked pasta and meatballs!
Chef Patrick also recently showed off his pancake flipping skills as he went through a step-by-step process of which ingredients to use and why.
The residents at St Ives House love these cooking demonstrations with Chef Patrick and have great fun getting involved… and sampling the finished goods!
