Talbot View celebrates their newly refurbished wing
Talbot View has recently re-opened a new wing of the home, following an extensive refurbishment.
The new wing, named Mulberry – which has 14 ensuite bedrooms – was officially opened by Care South’s Chief Executive, Susan Willoughby, and one of the home’s long-standing residents, Pam Rowland (aged 84) in a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The refurbishment work to the Mulberry wing included new curtains, carpets and furnishings in communal areas and residents’ rooms, plus a selection of new and inspiring artwork which line the wing’s corridors and spacious, bright lounges. The Mulberry dining room also received a make-over with tasteful new decoration, alongside new furniture.
Susan Willoughby, Chief Executive at Care South, said: “We are delighted to have opened the newly refurbished Mulberry wing at Talbot View. The new furnishings have really brightened up the spaces and made the communal areas very welcoming for our residents.”
Sara Muslin, Home Manager at Talbot View, added: “We look forward to welcoming new residents into the home, to enjoy the beautiful new Mulberry wing and everything that we have to offer at Talbot View.”
