There was a taste of Chinese culture at Elizabeth House care home in Poole during a day of fun, food, and friends.
Residents tried some traditional Chinese sweets: Haw Flakes (wafer thin sweets made from the fruit of the Hawthorn) and Lucky Candy (boiled sweets made with real strawberry juice).
They also learnt how to speak a little bit of Chinese and talked about the history of the country, before watching some clips of past Chinese New Year celebrations.
