Residents at Dorset House welcomed back their favourite adopted therapy duck, Daisy, to the care home in Hamworthy, Poole.
Daisy was rescued by Kitchen Assistant Marie, and knowing she enjoys affection, Marie brought her in for some time with the residents at the care home, who thoroughly enjoyed meeting her.
She became a local TV star when ITV visited Dorset House to film Daisy with the residents.

A spokesperson for Care South said: “We put care at the heart of everything we do at Care South, which is reflected in Marie’s kind actions.
“Research has shown the positive effect interactions with animals can have on care home residents, which is reflected in the engaging activities we put on in our care homes across the south, and it’s always a joy to see residents’ faces light up when they get to spend time with them.”
