Wickmeads coffee morning raises funds for charity
Wickmeads care home near Christchurch has raised money for a cancer charity through a coffee morning.
Staff baked cakes for event, which raised money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Chef Francis made a carrot cake; Rebecca, from the admin team, made a Biscoffi cake using biscuits; and Activities Lead Shirley made a Chocolate and raisin cake.
All three cakes went down a storm with residents and relatives, as well as visiting nurses on their breaks.
Nearly £50 was raised at the coffee morning, with more donated directly to Macmillan.
