It’s always a treat to see what The Memory Box Project have in store for the residents at Wickmeads care home in Southbourne.

Organised by the Wessex Heritage Trust, residents took a trip down memory lane through box, revisiting their childhoods.

There was a colourful toy made from wood that stumped some of the residents, while the skipping rope bought back lots of memories, recalling some of the rhymes they chanted as they jumped the rope in the playground.

The Memory Box Project aims to engage, support and share memories with people living with dementia in Hampshire and Dorset.
