Pat’s Wish Comes True with a Trip to the Burton Art Gallery

At Kenwith Castle, we love making residents’ wishes come true, and recently it was Pat’s turn to enjoy a truly special day out.

Pat has always had a passion for art, and her family told us that a visit to an art gallery would mean the world to her. With that in mind, Pat and a few of her friends set off for a wonderful trip to the Burton Art Gallery.

The visit was made even more memorable as Pat had the chance to see a real-life painting by the famous artist L.S. Lowry, which was on special loan to the gallery for just two weeks. It was an incredible moment for Pat, who was thrilled to experience such a rare piece of art up close.

To round off the day, everyone enjoyed a delicious tea and cake in the gallery café — the perfect way to reflect on the visit and share their favourite moments together.

It was a truly special outing for a very special lady, and a wonderful reminder of how important it is to celebrate the interests and passions of our residents. At Kenwith Castle, creating meaningful experiences and lasting memories is at the heart of everything we do.
