Ringwood care home team scoops prestigious Management Team of the Year trophy
The management team at a Ringwood care home is celebrating after receiving an award recognising dedicated and compassionate care.
St Ives House care home, which is operated by not-for-profit charity, Care South, received the Management Team of the Year award at the care group’s 16th annual Stars Awards ceremony. The awards recognise and reward individuals and teams from across Care South who go the extra mile to provide great care to residents and clients. Nominations are made by colleagues, residents and relatives.
Hosted by Simon Bird, CEO, it featured team members from each of the not-for-profit charity’s care homes and care at home offices based across Dorset, Somerset and north Devon.
A host of accolades were presented to worthy winners from those on the frontline through to their colleagues who work behind the scenes to enable the care services to run smoothly. The awards included Carer of the Year, Newcomer, Dining Experience, Activities Team, and Best Support Team, to name but a few. Emma Cotton, Home Manager, and Natalie Graham, Deputy Home Manager at St Ives House, which provides residential, respite and dementia care to residents, were thrilled to pick up the Management Team of the Year award.
Simon Bird, CEO, said: “I am immensely proud of every member of the Care South team, but an extra special congratulations must go to our winners at this year’s Stars Awards who really do go above and beyond to deliver the very highest quality care to all our residents and care at home clients.

We are so fortunate to have such passionate people in Emma and Natalie leading their team and supporting our residents at St Ives House to live with dignity, purpose and joy each and every day.”
Emma Cotton, Home Manager at St Ives House, said that it was testament to every member of the team that they received the top prize.
She added: “Natalie and I are absolutely thrilled to receive the Management Team of the Year award. We love working at Care South and are passionate about and committed to providing the very best care to our residents. While this award was presented to Natalie and myself, we see it as an award for the whole team at St Ives House which strives to provide an outstanding level of care and make a difference to those in our care.”
