Sparkle and Friendship: Talbot View Residents Prepare Jewellery for Summer Fayre
Preparations for the Talbot View Summer Fayre are well underway, and once again, our multi-talented resident Joan is leading the way with her much-loved handmade jewellery.
Famous in the home for her eye-catching accessories, Joan has returned to her craft table with friend and fellow resident Barbara, and together they’ve already polished, packaged and prepared an incredible 30 bracelets – with even more on the way!
A New Collection, A Shared Passion
This year’s creations include a brand-new line of key chains, lovingly made and ready to bring a touch of handmade charm to our craft sale at our Summer Fayre on 19 August. With attention to detail and a real flair for design, Joan and Barbara have been turning heads – even those who’ve had just a sneak peek are already lining up to make a purchase!
These jewellery-making sessions aren’t just productive – they’re also full of laughter, creativity and companionship, as the two friends enjoy working side-by-side on something they’re both proud of.
“It’s wonderful to see residents not only creating something so beautiful, but also finding real joy in the process,” said one team member.
Counting Down to the Fayre
