Dorset House were joined by Millie the Welsh Border Collie and her owner Chris.

Some of the Dorset House residents first met Millie at the Lewis Manning Muddy dog dash at Upton Country Park. Millie was such a huge hit with the residents, she loves to be cradled and cuddled like a baby and cannot get enough of the attention lavished upon her by all the residents.

She brought lots of joy into the home with all residents wanting to say hello and offer her a treat. Millie even showed residents how well she is doing with her training and showed off her tricks. Chris works on a dairy farm and generously donated his time between milking to visit the residents.

Dorothy said, ‘Oh yes, I remember meeting you, such a lovely dog!’

Ralph said, ‘It was lovely to have a cuddle with Millie and he said she was such a lovely dog and so good.’
