Remembrance Day at St Ives House
Residents at St Ives House were joined by their loved ones and residents of St Ives Place this morning to come together to for Remembrance Day.
Resident Sue was a civilian member of the London Irish Rifles Association, and later The Band of The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers London. She has played in the bugles, pipes and drums section of the bands in numerous military parades.
Those present were honoured that Sue wore her uniform from The Band of The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers London to perform The Last Post on the bugle before a special remembrance service held in the Bistro where two minutes silence was observed, prayers, readings and poems were read by our veteran residents and their loved ones,
