Sunshine, Showers and Smiles at Beauchamp House Summer Fayre
Beauchamp House recently opened its gardens and hearts for a truly joyful Summer Fayre, bringing together residents, family, friends, and members of the community for an unforgettable day filled with music, animals, and celebration.
A Big Band Soundtrack to the Day
The brilliant Wessex Big Band provided the perfect summer soundtrack, filling the air with upbeat, danceable tunes that had toes tapping and smiles beaming across the crowd. Their live performance brought a wonderful sense of occasion and set the tone for a fun-filled afternoon.
Unexpected Guests on Four Legs
Adding even more charm to the day were the ever-popular visitors from Stokewood Alpacas. Their gentle nature and curious personalities delighted everyone — with plenty of photo opportunities and quiet moments of connection. For many of our residents, meeting the alpacas was a highlight and brought both laughter and calm.

A Day for All Weather
Though the weather delivered both sunshine and showers, the energy and enthusiasm of our guests never faltered. The true spirit of Food, Fun and Friendship shone through as umbrellas were raised and conversations continued with warmth and laughter. New faces mingled with familiar ones, and the sense of community was truly felt.
A Special Return
We were honoured to once again welcome the Royal British Legion Riders, who arrived with smiles, stories, and plenty of goodwill. Their presence always adds a special touch to the day, and residents enjoyed hearing about their latest journeys and adventures.
Togetherness at Its Best
Whether it was enjoying delicious food, tapping along to the band, chatting with the alpacas, or simply spending time with loved ones, the day was a beautiful reminder of what matters most: togetherness, joy and community.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along, helped out, or supported the day in any way. We’re already looking forward to next year!
