Talbot View Christmas Fayre
At 2 o’clock sharp, family, friends, and visitors stepped out of the cold air and into the warmth of Talbot View care home to join the residents. Some enjoyed mince pies, wine, and bucks fizz, while others sang along to music played by the talented guitarist, Angus. Residents showcased their Christmas creations at their own stall, which sold out quickly.
The hairdressing salon was transformed into Santa’s grotto, where Mr. Claus and a cheeky elf brought smiles and Christmas spirit to everyone.
Resident Glyn and his wife, Teresa, hosted the Tombola, which was a hit as people eagerly tried to win prizes.
The main event, the Raffle, featured amazing prizes donated by BIC, G&T’s, and M&S, resulting in many happy winners. The Talbot View Christmas Fayre was a great success, raising £248 thanks to everyone’s participation.
