Talbot View appreciates the reminiscences of people in their care
Talbot View is full of beautiful stories told by the residents. This past week the residents have been digging deep in the Memory Box, and sharing stories that come to the forefront of their minds. From reminiscing on days in the RAF, working with tools like a hand-crank drill, to showing the younger staff “how I played marbles”. Residents have been proving that their talents never fade – as one resident even showed us how to write in short-hand! Many of our ladies took pride in caring for our sensory dolls and reminisced on what life was like when they had their own children.
