There are crafty residents at Talbot View
The residents at Talbot View care home have been diligently engaging in creative activities recently. The Sewing Club crafted ‘cuddle cubs’ and ‘holding hearts,’ while the Gent’s Club worked on wooden paintings, and resident Peter built his own model. Resident Joan has been occupied with making beautiful jewellery, and other residents have painted intricate designs on greeting cards. These handcrafted items were a big hit at the Craft Sale held for Red Nose Day, selling out in just a couple of hours. The highlight of the event was the ‘Guess the Weight of the Cake’ competition, which was won by a family member who impressively guessed the exact weight of 3.3kg!
