Autumn has arrived at Talbot View, and our residents were delighted to welcome the new season with a week filled with food, friendship and fun. The activities brought together creativity, conversation, and plenty of laughter, making it a wonderful way to celebrate the changing season.

Baking and Autumn Fruits

We began the week in the kitchen, baking a delicious fruit cake together. While preparing the ingredients, residents enjoyed a lively discussion about seasonal fruits, with pomegranates proving to be a popular topic. The smell of baking filled the home, adding to the cosy autumn atmosphere.

Creativity and Games

Resident Joan showcased her artistic talents by painting a vibrant pumpkin picture. This artwork was cleverly transformed into a fun ball game called “Feed the Pumpkin”, which quickly became a hit with everyone. The game sparked plenty of laughter and light-hearted competition, showing how creativity can lead to new ways to play and share joy.

Relaxation and Reflection

To balance the fun and games, residents were also treated to calming spa sessions. These relaxing moments provided an opportunity for self-care and comfort, leaving everyone refreshed and smiling.

An Autumn Quiz to Round Off the Week

The celebrations ended with an autumn-themed quiz. Residents impressed us all with their intelligence, quick thinking, and enthusiasm, making it a lively and uplifting way to bring the week to a close.

A Season of Togetherness

This week of autumn activities truly captured the spirit of food, fun and friendship that is at the heart of life at Talbot View. From baking and painting to spa sessions and quizzes, residents embraced the season with high spirits and a real sense of togetherness.
