Pudsey Fever hit Wickmeads today, with lots of Children in Need activities.  The day started with the Children from Cranleigh Lodge Nursery coming to visit the residents and they had fun and games with songs, stories and of course Pudsey.   The residents wanted to know all about Children in Need so the children were able to tell them all about it.   In return the residents told the children all about the poppies and our display for remembrance week.

The Pudsey fun continued with an Exercise Class and Jean sat proudly trying to balance the ball and not to lose it whilst still wearing her Pudsey Ears.

Then the day culminated in a Pudsey Party, where the chef had made some Pudsey Themed cakes and the residents listened to teddy bear inspired music.   Everyone seemed to remember the words to the Teddys’ Bear Picnic by Anne Murray and Let me be your Teddy Bear by Elvis Presley.   All in all everyone really enjoyed the day and “It was just like having our very own teddy bears picnic” said Shirley as she tucked into her Pudsey cake.
