Zumba at Dorset House
We have started a fitness class for staff here at Dorset House. Many staff were keen to improve their fitness but also have fun with each other when not on shift.
We had our first session last week and it was a real hit. Activities assistant Amy used to be a Zumba and dance instructor so luckily for us she has the skills to get us motivated.
Acro Amy got us all moving with fun routines, to motivating music. The class was full of laughter, and we cannot wait to see fitness levels improve and Amy is sure to increase the intensity to ensure our fitness continues to improve.
The health and wellbeing of our staff here at Dorset House is just as important as those we are caring for in our home. We are so pleased these classes are helping to improve team building and friendship for our amazing team.
The classes are being held at Dorset House weekly and donations towards Amy’s amazing talent as an instructor are going towards activities and treats for the residents we care so much about.
