Edward Court has been designed to offer a safe, peaceful and sustainable way of living for older people. This Assisted Living development offers a discreet, reliable and reassuring professional support and care service when it is needed.

Edward Court is a charming development of nine spacious, purpose-built apartments. These one- and two-bedroom apartments are not only perfectly located to benefit from the shops and services in nearby Parkstone, but they also enjoy a sense of peace and serenity, afforded to them by the neighbouring Alexandra Park, a stunning six-acre Edwardian-style beauty spot that is popular with dog walkers and young families.

Edward Court provides a wonderfully social atmosphere, in a reassuringly secure community with energy efficient, fully equipped properties, enabling older people to remain in their own home but, should there be a need, 24/7 respite or permanent care is available from nearby Alexandra House care home.

Residents are also more than welcome to attend events held by Alexandra House care home as well as use facilities such as the on-site café and hair salon.

Arranging a Little Extra Help…

A menu of affordable, additional services can also be arranged to provide assistance with mobility, bills, shopping, IT and more. Should needs change significantly, Alexandra House care home is there to support a transition into 24/7 care and support.

An additional care support package can be provided for:

  • Individuals living independently, seeking peace of mind and reassurance that help is always available;
  • Individuals with existing care and support needs, including help with mobility, personal care, companionship and living well with dementia; and
  • Individuals seeking reassurance that, should their care and support needs change significantly and become more complex, our neighbouring care home is available and can offer guidance and support with their transition.

Care South does not currently have any properties available for purchase, but, from time to time, there are some apartments and cottages available on the resale market.

Local estate agents who are known to have had apartments for sale include:

Alternatively, our nearby Alexandra House care home offers residential care…

For those in need of extra support, our neighbouring Alexandra House care home combines a modern design with a homely feel and ensures residents’ ease and comfort. Our light and spacious themed lounges provide a lovely area to relax with a cup of tea and a slice of cake or socialise with friends and loved ones. Residents also have full use of our on-site café and hair salon.

We have 58 welcoming and comfortable, fully furnished rooms, each with en-suite toilet and shower facilities and a 24-hour nurse call bell, ensuring residents are comfortable, safe and expertly cared for. We give all our residents support and peace of mind, whether they need just a little assistance, or full-time care and we pride ourselves on doing everything possible to enhance our residents’ quality of life.

Alexandra House is blessed with stunning views over Alexandra Park, a six-acre Edwardian-style beauty spot, popular with dog walkers and young families, that offers residents a sense of peace and serenity.

We are also perfectly located to benefit from the shops and services in nearby Parkstone, enabling residents to continue to do what they love, whether that’s popping out for a coffee with friends, assisted by a member of our excellent care team, or enjoying activities with visiting loved ones. Nothing is ever too much trouble for us when it comes to the care and comfort of our residents and we always go the extra mile to help residents safely maintain their lifestyle and independence.
