Football crazy fan has wish come true
Alan, a resident of St Ives House care home made a wish to visit the Vitality Stadium, and the staff have made Alan’s wish come true.
An AFC Bournemouth fan all his life, Alan attended the Vitality Stadium for every home game as a season ticket holder. Then a recent decline in his health meant he was no longer able to attend.
Alan recently moved into St Ives House and as part of his admission told the staff about his passion for everything football, but specifically AFC Bournemouth. Staff then decided to organise a stadium tour for Alan at the Vitality Stadium.
Alan specifically wanted to sit in the dugout and was so please that he was able to do this. His favourite player is Dom Solanke and Alan was very pleased to have his photo taken next to Dom’s picture. The team were training so unfortunately were unable to be there in person.
Alan was so very happy that he has been able to visit the Vitality Stadium and is looking forward to future opportunities that involve AFC Bournemouth and Care South.
