Tracy Jennings
Home Manager
Tracy started in the care industry in 2012 and worked her way up to Registered Manager by 2017, having achieved her Level 5 Qualification. She is driven to ensure high standards of care and attention to detail are delivered to residents, and is passionate that they live in a happy and relaxed environment.
Tracy says “I believe the most effective way to bring out the best in a team is to be a good role model, and work with staff to ensure they have a voice which is heard; engaging the team in decisions and processes which affect both them and the residents. I focus my work in the belief that, if my team is happy and supported in their work, this will be reflected in the care they provide to our residents.”
In her spare time she enjoys reading fictional crime thrillers. “I love trying to figure out ‘who done it?’ but very rarely get it right.” She also has a vast collection of puzzle books to keep her mind active.

Robert
Chef
“I enjoy my job because I feel that I am giving something back to the community and the people that did their bit for me.” – Burt, Dorset House Chef
Given our mission to provide residents with the three F’s – Food, Fun and Friendship – mealtimes are very important to us and residents love coming together to enjoy delicious, nutritious and wholesome meals with their friends.
Our menu is expertly crafted by our talented Chefs, working closely with our Caterings Operations Manager, and is cooked and prepared onsite by our skilled kitchen staff. We are passionate about providing high-quality food for residents and we cater for all dietary requirements and meal preferences, always maintaining the same high standards when preparing alternative meals. Refreshments are available for residents throughout the day.
We currently hold a food hygiene rating of 5/5 stars (date of inspection: 19/11/2025) and

Ieva Lankaite
Deputy Manager
I have worked in the care sector since 2020, progressing to Deputy Manager and achieving Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Adult Care. I am delighted to have joined Care South and to now be a part of the welcoming and dedicated team at Dorset House.
For me, good care is about much more than meeting peoples needs. It is about getting to know each resident as an individual, understanding what matters to them, and making sure they feel valued, respected and truly at home. I also believe that a happy and supported team is essential in providing the best possible care, and I enjoy working alongside colleagues to maintain a high standard and continually improve what we do.
Outside of work, I enjoy photography, yoga, spending time by the sea and traveling whenever I get the opportunity. I’m always happiest exploring somewhere new – usually with my camera close by
